He found his mate he thought was dead, she found a man that saved her.
He brought her into their world that she didn't know ever existed.
He lost her yet again, but even in death she fought to survive to be with him, holding on to every last thread of life.
Would he get her back?
Would she survive?
Life without my other half is a torment and hell, help me stay alive, help me survive, help me breath again.

Chapter 1 - Anna Fortune
In a three story secondary school building that looked slightly delapidated, the atmosphere was extremely quiet, the ticking of the clock could be heard as well as the shuffling of paper and the scribbling on paper. From time to time, a sigh could be heard from inside the make shift auditorium-classroom.
Inside there were a total of one hundred and ten chairs with desk and they were all occupied with students that were busy conscentrating on what looked like creamish-brownish booklets that they were busy writing on. Among the rows and columns of chairs there was a frail looking girl. With close observation dark marks could be seen around her eyes, she looked exhausted, and looked like any moment she would fall asleep.
She smiled as soon as she had finished answering the questions, she placed her pen down as she started to read over the answers to her question, she would add some things from time to time, but it was clear that she was completely satisfied with the answers she had given. She was sure that she would get a scholarship now, all she needed now was to complete the last two examinations she had the next day.
Just as she closed the booklet and was about to get up from her seat to the booklet to the examination invigilator, she heard, "Time up everyone, please put your pens down and wait for one of the supervisor to collect your booklet."
She sighed and sat back down, patiently waiting her turn, she was sure that Jessica was already outside waiting for her, the drive from the school to the city was one hour and she was not sure how long they may take at the identification card office. She had to be back at the school before school dismiss or else her matron would punish her again for being late and her chores were already so much to handle, plus it was almost a week now since she had her last meal of food.
As soon as her paper had been collected she rushed out of the auditorium, immediately grabbing her school bag from the rack that was placed outside the auditorium room for them to place their bags before entering the examination. She rushed to the car park, and just as she expected she saw Jessica was already their waiting for her.
"Anna, what took you so long?' Jessica asked as soon as she got in the car.
"I finished just as they were ready to collect the papers," Anna answered.
"Okay, let us just hope that there is no traffic along the way to the city."
"Don't worry, I think God would be on our side," Anna said in an optimistic tone of voice.
"Always optimistic as ever I see, anyway, I have a sandwich for you in my lunch bag. You must be starving," Jessica said as she pointed the lunch bag that was next to Anna's feet in the passenger side of the car.
"Thank you," Anna said opening the lunch bag and indeed there was a sandwich, but also some fruits and drinks. "These?" she asked.
"Yes, as you know, I always tell you to have some water and fruits at least half an hour before you have a meal. So go ahead, I heard from Maria that the matron has punished you with no food for a week because you did not complete all the chores this past weekend."
Anna sighed as she drank some water and then eat the fruits that were already cubed and in a kit. She remembered what happened that Saturday like it was just yesterday, she had just finished folding all the clothes that were washed and batched them out and was taking them to the respective rooms. It was only when she had returned to take the last set of clothes to the last room did she notice a basket of clothes in front of the matron with the other three girls that were standing in front of the matron crying and saying that she was picking on them and refused to wash their clothes.
The matron was so angry that she beat Anna, made her prepare the dinner for the entire week and she was not allowed to eat anything. Anna knew she had checked before washing that there were no dirty clothes remaining in any rooms before she started to wash the clothes. She never expected that her roommates would hide their clothes and cause her trouble, knowing fully well that they all had their final examinations that week.
The four of them were doing their advance level examinations, they were also turning eighteen that year, which means that the governament would not be helping fun their further educations anymore, and they would also have to leave the orphanage as the matron would not keep them pass eighteen years of age.
Anna was looking forward to either getting a scholarship so that she could continue her education or she would get good grades that she could get a good job so that she could stay on her own. Her birthday would be that Sunday, she was hoping that she would get something to do before her birthday, even though Jessica offered her a place to stay, Anna was still determined to be on her own as she did not was to impose on others privacy.
Finally, the two had arrived at the identification card office, they both made their way inside the office, Anna handed the letter that stated her national identification card was ready, which had been sent to Jessica as she knew the matron would just discard the letter and would not inform her about it. Anna was excited when she collect her national ID that she started to smile, now her scholarship application could be completed.
Just as the two made their way out and was about to get in the car, two strange men walked up to them, "Hello, could you tell me where the register's general office is?"
"There," Jessica said as she pointed the building next to the office they had just come out from.
"Thank you," the shorter of the two men said as he smiled at Jessica.
