Synopsis
Shireen and William are an engaged couple, but there are always fights between them because of nasty rumours about Shireen.

Rumours say that Shireen is not a virgin and has had an abortion, Shireen is also a drunkard and has tattoos. But are the rumours true?

However, among them, there is Olivia, a woman who always looks like an angel. Olivia is Shireen's older sister, a gentle, kind, and successful woman.

So, was Shireen able to maintain her relationship with William amidst the nasty rumours about her or did William finally end their engagement and fall in love with Olivia?

Chapter 1. Events on Engagement Day

"Why did you spill your drink on my dress!" Olivia spoke at a volume loud enough that William came into the living room.

"What is it?" William looked at the two sisters in front of him.

"Shireen accidentally spilled a drink on my dress. Shireen accused me of stealing you..." Olivia acted weak in front of William.

Olivia's words cornered Shireen, but this woman immediately answered, "I didn't do it."

Olivia looked at Shireen. "Shireen, I'm sorry, but I can't hide your ugliness any longer. I've had enough of your lies and rude actions towards me..."

"What do you mean?" Shireen looked at Olivia, who was three years older than her.

Olivia looked at William, and this woman complained, "I know you two will get engaged, but Shireen has always threatened me all this time. Shireen was always afraid that I would steal you, so Shireen always had bad intentions, even my sister once locked me up." Olivia groaned.

"What!" William immediately empathized with Olivia and then looked at Shireen. "Is it true?"

"I didn't." Shireen was calm.

"You are sisters, why are you enemies?" William showed an annoyed expression.

"William, don't be angry with my sister. Moreover, you are getting engaged. It's just that I don't want Shireen to continue to threaten me and endanger my safety, so I exposed her bad attitude today, and you see for yourself, Shireen spilled a drink on my dress, that is proof of her bad attitude towards me all this time..."

William listened to everything Olivia said, then looked at Shireen, who was holding an empty glass. That proves that Olivia's words are valid. "Why did you do it?" William's disappointment was visible in his eyes.

"Olivia said a lie. I didn't do it."

"Then what is the glass in your hand?"

Shireen immediately looked at the glass she was holding. "This is a drink glass. I was going to drink it, but Olivia grabbed my hand and spilled the drink on her dress."

"Lie! Shireen spilled it," Olivia whispered.

"What is this?" William needed clarification about Olivia and Shireen. Who is right, and who is lying?

"I'm telling the truth, I didn't spill the drink. Olivia did."

For a few moments, the room turned silent. William held his temples because he was too confused, then told Shireen, "There is only one hour left before we will be engaged, but why did you hurt your sister this way? What happened between you?"

"I don't know. From the start, everything was fine...," said Shireen, trying to explain.

"No. That's a lie, all this time, Shireen hated me because her ex-boyfriend used to like me, so now Shireen is afraid you like me too." Olivia's gaze turned to William.

William immediately asked Shireen again, "So you have an ex-boyfriend?"

"That is not important. We're getting engaged, so why should we discuss ex-boyfriends?" asked Shireen.

Olivia said, "Shireen had an ex-boyfriend and was even about to get engaged, but when he saw me, the man was attracted to me. The man said that if Shireen's actions were often despicable, Shireen was not a good girl. The man told me a lot, then confessed his love for him a few weeks later and called off his engagement to Shireen."

Again, William listened to everything Olivia said, then asked Shireen, "Have you only been pretending to be nice in front of me all this time?"

"Trust me, everything Olivia says is a lie…."

"You can't dodge it anymore. How long will you hide your rottenness? Please don't put William in trouble. William didn't do anything wrong to you; it's just me that you treated badly, don't William..." Olivia whimpered, so William put his arm around her shoulders.

"I don't know who's right, but I can't possibly allow you guys to be enemies."

"Don't you believe me, your fiance?" Shireen started to look sad after hearing William's words and seeing her lover hugging Olivia's shoulder.

"I'll take Olivia, then we'll talk," William told Shireen. This man, who looked fragile, was still hugging Olivia's shoulders, then left Shireen in the living room.

The glass in her hand was kept on the table, Shireen sat waiting for William until finally, the man met her, looking gently at Shireen. "Tell me what happened. Is it true that you spilled a drink on Olivia's dress because you hated her?"

"I didn't." Shireen shook her head.

"Is it true that you have an ex-boyfriend?"

Shireen didn't answer immediately, but this girl knew she was cornered. "Yes."

"What's the reason you guys split up?"

"Does any of that matter? In less than an hour, we will be engaged; guests are already starting to gather in the party room."

"I have to know everything because Olivia told me many things. I have to find out who is right. And ...."

Shireen needed clarification because William paused his sentence. "And, what? Please don't believe anything Olivia says; my sister is lying."

William held Shireen's shoulders, then looked at the woman who was five years younger than him. "Tell me honestly. Is it true that you weren't a virgin even when you were dating your ex-boyfriend?"

"What!" Shireen was surprised to hear this because this was the first time William had asked something beyond her expectations.

"Olivia said the main reason your ex-boyfriend called off the engagement was because you had an abortion while dating him, but he never touched you, you were also a drunk and wore tattoos. But when you meet Olivia, your ex-girlfriend is attracted to her because Olivia is not like you. Tell me, explain everything to me!"

"So you believe in Olivia?" Shireen was about to cry after hearing all of William's sentences.

"No, but I don't believe you either." William and Shireen were still looking at each other; they discussed things that had to be resolved immediately because the engagement time was almost here.

"Ask your heart, who should you trust..." Shireen didn't want to discuss complicated things, especially since the party room started to sound busy.

"I don't know, I'm confused!" William shouted briefly, and then the room echoed for a moment.

"Do I look like I'm not a virgin? Do I look like I've had an abortion? Do I look like I'm drunk and have tattoos?" Shireen asked William many things at once.

Now, William's gaze returned to Shireen. "No. Possible!"

"You have to be sure. If you believe, you will know the answer and who to believe, me or Olivia."

William was increasingly confused, and Olivia's words sounded convincing, especially when she said that Shireen had spilled a drink on her dress because she was holding an empty glass. Then this man couldn't answer.

"If you don't believe me, just cancel the engagement. I don't care even though we've been in a relationship for a year and even though we've made lots of sweet memories because I don't want to start a relationship without trust."

"I already know, who should I believe!"
